(859) 635-5762Hi Chris,

I'm running a single CPU Athlon MP 2800 for my Paris rig, and wanted to
upgrade my Nuendo machine (presently running 2 Athlon MP 1900).

I have one RME HDSP 5296 in my Nuendo computer, and have plans on getting
the Lynx AES16 as well. I'm running running one TC Powercore Firewire
between the two computers, with a PowerCore Unplugged in each. The Nuendo
computer is running Windows XP pro. I aslo am running GigaStuiodo from the
Nuendo computer. Primarily, th

Question: Why does'nt the Dual Core Processors work with Paris?
Reason; My Asus N-force 2 board flaked out. So, I just ordered new Gigbyte
mobo(939 socket-N-force3) with Dual core Opteron 165..

Thanks

you need to turn Hyperthreading off on P4's... because it's kinda similar
to dual processors.

The code just doesn't gel with it.

Cheers,

new tracks to compensate for the delay. This is a little bit of trouble but
by far the most satisfying reverb. BTW; convolution reverbs are not
intended to work as bus type effects. You will not likely get the sound to
sit in a space by only running a portion of the signal through the
convolution.

rig.Eastcoast fixed this comp recently and I don't
remember how the IRQs were set.
System info says 1 card is sharing with the UAD and another
with the firewire controller. It doesn't say there are any
conflicts though. The one sharing with the UAD makes me wonder
if that should be happening.
If I change it from Auto it just seems that both cards would
still be using the same IRQ,just a different number;how would I
split them up?

Please for give any ignorance as I'm a former Mac guy.
