Okay I finally had some success using this Motu stuff.
It seems that Clockworks is sending data of its own
all the time. Sysex to be specific. =20

If I don't open Clockworks many of the earlier problems
go away. Still not really stable but not crashing at least.
I do have to replace my FastLane so Paris can get back into
the picture though. Maybe SMPTE will be a better way to
go.

The Subject should have read: =20
MIDI HELL or CLOCKWORKS IS USELESS.
Not that I've got that straight I feel better.
