ckaging job
(this thing is heavy) and when it arrived, two of the transformers were
broken loose from the chassis. I started looking around for somewhere I
could get this thing serviced and finally called Jensen Electronics. They
said that they were familiar with this box, it had been discontinued for
years and that the original owner of the company had become ill and had to
close his operation down. Jensen had agreed to service his legacy products.
Well, when all was said and done, I had shipped this to LA and had Jensen
fit 4 x JT11 nickel core transformers in it to complement the existing
transformers which are steel core trannys.

The original transformers are branded RE 7393 PC. I did some searching back
when I first got this and saw some reference on the internet to Sowter but
I can't say for sure if these are Sowter transformers. Whatever they are,
they do the job when the output of an unbalanced piece of gear is routed to
the input of the IsoBrick and then the output of that tranny is routed to an
A/D converter. Rounds the sound nicely. I used these to balance the outputs
of a pair of RNC
