Dear=20
Tom,
Because I get returned messages I am posting here...
I =
may have=20
missed that email referring to the fxpansion.
Now here is what I =
propose=20
for ultra stable Paris.
Forget DX support for Paris.
For your =
ways use=20
the utility that extracts vst instances of all your
waves =
plugins so you=20
can use them as vst then instead of DX.
Now as you have chainer =
you MUST=20
use chainer for all your vst.
Only exception I would make but =
do't see=20
why is Faderworks is so
reliable that can work straight from =
Paris as=20
vst without chainer.
Now for some DX like autotune and others =
please use=20
the FFX4 free DX
chainer that works as vst.
So from inside =
chainer=20
you can open your DX you want.
Let the fxpansion go...
I have =
not had=20
any single crash from that time I made that=20
!!!
Regards,
Dimitrios

------=_NextPart_000_003A_01C79496.79D9A360--No more wisecracks.

On the cheap, you can do it like this: record the part clean, into a
preamp that has HiZ ins or into a direct box. Then put a modeling plug
on each channel. There are some free ones I think, if you don't own one.
Guitar Suite is cool for pedals and a Twin sound. Check out Voxengo too.

I love free plugs.

4 on the digi I/O. Hmm.. memory must not be working =
right :) I'm thinking all that info didn't stick because I work in 16 =
and mix 24, but to be honest my levels just never get low enough for me =
to concern myself with 16 being a problem which is well under 24. I =
guess that hasn't changed much over the years, certainly not with Paris, =
and my audio work has simplified so I don't get the quality time I used =
to get with it.=20

Anyone have a 442 in hand they can test then export the file to wavelab =
for bitrate testing? .
