>There will be an outage (yes, another one Dave ;o) in about half an hour,
or at about 8AM GMT, while I switch processors in the server. It should be
a simple as unplug and plug in the new one, so we should be back up in minutes...
....but just so everyone knows...
....hopefully I'll get it done before the U.S. coffee brigade wakes up. ;o)
Cheers,
Kim.37.5% CPU speed increase...
....and more importantly, the fan on the new CPU is showing 5500RPM, not
1300RPM like the last one was, hence the processor might actually last and
not cook itself. :o)
Now if Paypal will hurry up and transfer that UPS cash into my bank account,
then we might have a fully stable system again. ;o)
Cheers,
Kim.

on the 0404, 120db in and out on the 1212m. 1212 also has balanced in/out
and ADAT I/0. The 0404 converters are said to sound good, but have heard
that the 1212s have more clarity. Would probably depend on what type of
music you are recording, if the 1212 would be worth the upgrade.
