I guess I do things backwards, compared to a lot of people, with
regard to overheads vs. room mics - I've seen plenty of folks
using SDC's for overheads & LDC's for room mics - personally, I
like the imaging you get from LDC's as overheads, and the - I
guess "smoother" (since a better descriptive term fails me at
the moment - less prone to picking up flutter, boominess, things
like that), and less-focused characteristics of SDC's for room
mics.
