partition utilities that can start the machine in Dos-mode, you can see if
the boot-partition is lost. As I understand, you have not a Ghost copy that
can save your day if you have trouble with booting. If it's just that the
partition will not start, you can try a repair install with the original
CD, if it's WinXP you're using.
