Tom, you may find it useful to print out an excel trouble shooting chart =
and check off the items as you tag them good/bad. I find that keeping up =
with 'everything' on a deal like this (IE, never enough time to just do =
it all in one sitting) is just about impossible. Label each 'part', give =
it a proper set of troubleshooting criteria (like say, SCSI cable 1, 2, =
3, 4 or EDS 1,2,3,4 and label each part with gaff tape). If you come up =
on a bad MEC, pull all expansion cards and make sure that's not biting =
you. Don't forget to mark what expansion came from what slot in what =
MEC.=20
Just be methodical man, I know you'll find it.=20

Yup. Strip it ALL down to a PC only with video card, one EDS and =
one MEC. Get that flying, add a second EDS.. pull the 2nd EDS, try =
another, etc... do the same with MEC's and cables.=20

Intermitant success is the best I've got right now.
I plan to install Paris on another comp, try each EDS
individually and ea

This might be flogging the rented and dead mule, but you =
did verify that dual core was off in this equation, and hadn't been =
flipped back on by a gremlin?

Ya Jeff,
At least half the times no C-16 was attached.
Do you think that a bad C-16 cable could cause these =
issues?
I'll remove them from the setup until all is well.
I know at least a few times it worked that the C-16 =
did also.

Tom,
Stupid question, but did you ever start up without =
any c16's? If so did=20
you see the same issue?
