smidge. A little more stereo separation on the
guitars would make the solo stand out more. I like the vocal where it is
in the mix (I like the vocal to be out front). The effect seems just
right any more would smear the mix. The accordion could stand out a
little more maybe pan it away from the shaker so that the higher
harmonics aren't masked. (Accordion can be a bear to record and even
harder to get to sit right in the mix.)You cold back the shaker off a
hair maybe, but not too much because it's such an integral part of the
feel. Otherwise very good separation between the instruments. Bear in
mind that I'm listening on average quality computer speakers.
I really liked it!

the type of storage I wanted were WAY too expensive...

when the new "classic" came out I just couldn't pass up the 80g for $250
price point... it finally became a sexy piece of gear...

so... the day after they came out, I purchased one...

I must say... I have run some uncompressed disks over to it, as well as some
MP3... it really does sound fabulous uncompressed..and in the environment
to which I use it... damn near as good compressed... .

I usually listen to it in my truck.. if I am listening to something critical...
it is not through headphones, it is not in the car... it is off of my media
PC direct into my system... it has all same stuff that the iPod now has (plus
a ton more)
