I disagree with you here. I love Asia, and I've got an acoustic set
from several years ago by the orginal four that simply kicks ass.

I also bought the "Gold" cd collection - another amazing remaster job
that removed a lot of the "Mike Stone Factor" (no bass, muddy
overblown mix). The songs are clear and have punch now - the way I
knew they were recorded.

I'm looking forward to it.

Granted, the band lost its way during the 90's when it was down to one
or two original members. But I really like the orig

reme assumptions that Vista is a
bloated waste of bits and bytes (or rather for any PC users interested):

Scroll down for the graph. Cubase 4 was used. Pretty big jump in plugin
count with Vista over XP32. Vista 64 and 32 will be the same as Cubase 4 (I
believe) is still a 32-bit app.

Sorry for the selective quote Don, but that's hilarious!

DougSaw that one. I'm already so tired of the 2008 election campaign I am
considering dumstering my TV, as that's all that I will be seeing from now
on if I choose to turn it on. Some of the most creative and productive tomes
of my life happened when a TV was nowhere around. this might be a good time
to do some songwriting. I can choose from the survivors of the bloodbath
without having to participate. They pretty much have all done their
posturing and campaining already, the rest is just going to be recyling

Everybody dies . . . some people decide not to wait for their own special
life sentence and take matters into their own hands in order to end their

a, and use
it for actually getting music and audio
work done.

OS's aren't a political statement for me. They are just a means to an end.
The post about Cubase 4 performance was just useful info for PC users.
Anything wrong with that?

>Deej, your math is funny! First, your not accounting for the first cheap
shit MOBO that started acting up, so add in $125.00 for that. That would
bring you first total up to $280.00. Add $219.00 to that, and you could

the major OSs right out of the box.

Start adding up all of the bad/fried MOBOs, power supplies, and memory.
Add up your time on video cards that gave you trouble, or were incompatible???
So Deej how much time and aggravation have you spent in the last five years
