No Seriously, I have tried the Lawson (several), which I like, but didn't
knock me out. In fact I was mixing a tune last night with he first vere recorded
through my cheapo LD2ube and second into a Lawson, after a tad of eq, it
was pretty tough to tell. The LD2UBE definitely has more presence, anyway,
I digress. And the U67 I am used to is so much thicker and funkier than the
Gemini clips I have heard (which sound really nice too, just different) And
many of those ELAM 251's are way out of my price range. However, I think
DJ brings up a great point, and I was going to mention it yesterday. Resale
value. I have a Bradfute strat that is really nice, but it does not say Fender
on it I can't get much for it. Also, along these
