ll clip internally if the gain staging
isn't done right. If the preamp gain is +20 dB, the Main out gain must be
-20 dB or lower. I could have enforced this in the UI, but it would have
been a lot of coding that really shouldn't be necessary.

Please, please, please pay what you can if you download this. It was my
first port of code written for the DP Pro, and there were some really critical
differences that took a lot of time to figure out. My next task is porting
the hall reverb from the DP Pro. If you value this software and want to
see more, pleas send some $ my way.

As always, you can download the Amp at www.ensoniq.ca. just scroll down
to the bottom.

Also. please let me know what you think of this and if/how you are using
it. It means a lot to me to know that this stuff is being used.

Cheers!

MikeI'm guessing you don't own the dvd "dumb and dummer" either. Totally st

upid
humor always cracks me up.But Chris, that's $4k for MADI + 648, and all just to up the single card I/O
count beyond 3 ADAT ports (Digiface). I agree - the RayDAT is basically a
Digiface with one extra ADAT port and an AES. What the heck are they
thinking putting out marginal variations of the same theme??

I'm with Graham - a 6-8 x ADAT-only PCIe interface and breakout box with
wordclock (ADAT only Digiface) would be far more useful for me. Pretty
disappointing RME hasn't done this yet - not that Lynx is pushing the high
ADAT I/O options either though.

If MADI can handle the channel count I don't see why a dedicated pigtail
from a PCIe interface to a breakout box couldn't.

on converters...

That said, I still love the Digiface. I just wish they made it
single-card expandable like the MOTU stuff. Apparently few others in
the user base asked.

two onboard TI chipset ports (the 4 pin) to run any audio from, and tie into
the 6 pin with the hub to run stuff like camcorder and iPOD. Are you aware
of anyone using TI chips in a hub, and in this application does that matter?

Thanks!
Aaron
