s I intent to use Paris with my Hardware Synths and Sequencer, I am holding off with the RME-Cubase solution, and try to line up my Hardware tracks either manually with a Clicktrack or by striping SMPTE (MPC) or striping Smart FSK/Beat Clock with JL Cooper PPS-2. Ol skool methods for ol skool equipment.

It would still be interestig whether the MOTU Digital Timepiece could interpret PARIS ADAT Sync properly and convert it to SMPTE to tync another DAW. RME also have the TCO option card for their HDSPe cards that transfers incoming LTC to ASIO Positioning Protocol (Windows only). Might be working better, but I shy the effort right now. MOTU DTPs go for peanuts on ebay though, lol.I still have my OS9 Paris system along with win7 64 bit system.I should try that also. I track live sessions with the OS9 Mac and open the session on win 7 system without problems.
This is pretty awesome. But for those in 64 bit DAWs, do you think there might some commercial workaround to get it to work in a 64 bit environment similar to wrapping a 32 bit plug-in? Hi N0Samples,

In theory, this would be possible, but the mechanics of going from a 32 bit process to a 64 bit process would add a lot of latency. I expect at least 3 ms. I'm not aware of anyone trying to do it.

Just to update, I've been working on bug fixes over the summer.

I think I just fixed the last one this past week. There was an issue with using expansion cards and an external clock. It turns out that expansion cards need to be disconnected and reconnected when the clock source changes.

I also just fixed a bug that involved setting expansion inputs and outputs to -10 or +4.

The biggest one was the issue that only manifested in Windows 10, and

I've got the TV running off of the HDMI out from the Asus motherboard, with the DVI and RGB outs going to a pair of
24-wide monitors. The 24s don't look exactly the same
but no big deal...plenty good enough for Paris and Reaper.

Thank

ference Library. Would love access to that library, but the wayback machine blocks it since it required wiki registration. I'm late to the party!

Cheers,

(feel free to PM if you'd like) Hi Greg,

I can send you a pdf file, but it's too big to send on this forum.
What is your personal email?

Cheers,

http://www.GuernseyCove.caI didn't even know they released a manual for 3.0 Embarassed Thank you Gordon. I got the manual through the help of someone. Hey Everyone,

I just picked up a Royer R121 ribbon and a Shure SM57 combo (with the AxeMount dual mic clip) for recording electric guitar. I've got to say I'm blown away with how good this sounds. I truly just "followed the directions" (many descriptions for exact mic placement and how to check for phase alignment on the internet) and got a clear, punch tone that sounded fantastic. I've tested it with a EVH 50W combo on both the red and blue channels, and I'm going to try out some other, lower gain, amps that I have. I had been using just an SM57 for high gain guitars, and a RE20 for lower gain and clean, but I think this combo might be my new goto for all electric guitar recording going forward.

I'm running into the same problem I think. Thanks to Mike Audet's ADAT work, I have achieved optical lock using Windows XP, but not sync (before installing Mike's drivers, Paris couldn't even find my ADAT card). This is my first time using ADAT so I'm pretty sure it's user error.

When I go into the Paris ADAT control panel I get a message saying that an ADAT device was not found, even though optical lock is solidly lit. I'm thinking it's related to sync because that's not lit on my Paris ADAT card.

If you
