After switching the clock back to 44.1 I tried other projects at 44.1 =
but they also didn't play=20
right latency wise. I also lost all my presets once I'm using the =
plugins. =20
This is across the board. =20
I rescanned them 3 times with FXpansion 3.3 but no help. I check no =
VST prefix, rescan failed plugs,=20
rescan existing plugs and I uncheck the DX question on the second =
page. I directed FXpansion
to the single folder that has all my VSTs.
Any suggestions?
Thanks because I am really confused now.
Tom

no) in parenthisis) =
and
copy them to the=20
correct folder. Then delete the bogus folder, or the UAD dll's. I use =
the
steinberg/vst folder,=20
since that's what it defaults to, and that's not what I use normally. =
You
don't have to do=20
this, but if the error messages bug you (they do me) you can. The =
mono versions
don't work=20
correctly in Paris, but it keeps the error screen from popping up.
>Also where are they exactly so I can copy them from C drive 1 to 2?
If your reffering to where the presets are actually stored...I don't =
know...I've
tried to find it and I can't. Somewhere in the registry. I emailed =
Angus
at fxpansion and that's all I got out of him. Maybe someone smarter =
than
me can figure that out.
I know it's NOT in the Paris fx file.
If you've already lost the presets...I don't know of anyway to get =
them back,
unless you have a ghost image of your C drive.
Also the UAD plugs get told what sample rate to operate at when =
they're iniated
in the ppj vst slot. Soooo, if you reset the clock back to 44.1 from =
48,
you need to get rid of the UAD plugs and re-introduce them so they =
know what
sample rate to work at.
Also...when you say you reset the hardware clock...are you talking =
about
an external clock??? If so you also need to set Paris at the proper =
clock
rate to match the external clock.
In other words, if you have the external clock set to 44.1, but have =
the
Paris project window set to 48k, even though it will run at 44.1, the =
UAD
plugs will think it's at 48k and things will get ALL JACKED UP. (been =
there,
don that)
Is that what happened???
Good luck...I'm afraid you may be SOL in getting your presets back. =
Let me
know how its going.
