The south was kicking the "Norths" behinds monetarily$$ With the souths cheap
"but" very laborers, the north could not compete.. So..How can we get some
that Cheap labors(North)..Hummm.."The Slaves need to free" so they can come
up here and work for us...
That's why Slavery ended. it had nothing to do with the so-called "do-gooders".
Yes abolishoinist we around, but it was the likes of big northern industies
and with the help of the US (Yankee) army to make that haapend. The south
was fight for it's $$$$ life.. We all no what soon happend to the south after
the war when the slaves left the plantations..The south has never fully recovered
from that economic $$ hit. the
