trying to cobble together the same functions with Decklink, RME, and
multiple DSP cards, etc (though being able to the UAD-1s in the mix is still
a nice bonus).

what was around at that time, and I mean Pro Tools, Cubase, Soanar. Last
updates 3.0 was released in 2001, probably written in 2000, so it doesn't
have the features of updated brands, we would all want those updates that
did not come for the last 5 years, so Paris is just a classic audio system
in history now. But it does real good things still, without the updates,
why would we even bother if it didn't have the unique sound / mixbus? I hope
you find what you are looking for, whichever brand you find it.
