ense. But I have some personal knowledge of the Ableton principals
and they seem to have pretty sharp business minds, so I doubt they'd sell
the code base to Digi for cheap. Then again, I could be wrong about all of
this, but one of the reassuring things about Ableton is that they've been
smart and savvy about how they're growing the company.
Then again, I could be wrong about all of this and maybe they'll pull a Steinberg
or an Emagic and cash in at the right moment and leave their users in limbo
for a few years.
