I'm thinking John got Dave in to Blue Grass or the other way around.
I've got to say, the video is still strange, it's just not a good fit.

>Your global effects were in PARIS_FX.VAR. If you overwrote this file without
backing them up they are gone. If you have them in project files and not
in global effects you can then just add them back into global by opening
one project at a time and pushing them into the global area. Then backup
the file PARIS_FX.VAR.
The default is just a backup of the original paris presets before we add
any.

Okay folks Chris Ludwig nailed the problem.
I had emulated versions of the MIDI in/out ports
combined with the originals. I turned the
emulated ones off and disabled them in
Cubase/Devices. This solved all the monitoring
problems.
As has been stated before Mr. Ludwig IS - DA - MAN !
Thanks for all the other help David & Neil. I'm sure I'll
have other questions now that I can hear what I'm doing
again.

Well.. sounds like something's "weird" (yeah that's a technical
term) in some setting somewhere. It should loop through with
no problem. If you can't figure it out by tomorrow, maybe I can
walk you through specific settings on the phone tomorrow
evening. Let me know if you want to try that - post here or e-
me directly at:
