David,
This was a new drive, fresh install, no XP tweaks yet,
No Pace Paris, Dimitrios install in Paris Pro directory
straight on the C drive. I followed the instructions.
I'm not experiencing BSOD just a Windows error after Paris=20
is closed which wasn't the case before plugins were loaded.
I'm going to try and mess with the files it's asking about to
see if that changes any of it's other behavior. I'll try another EDS =
card
and recheck the ribbons. Maybe Mike can walk me through another fix =
too.
Thanks for the help,
Tom

They shouldn't have but just to be safe, download fresh copies from =
the=20
below page.
The instruction order is critical for a successful XP install.
Was your XP install "fresh" or did you just re-install over windows? =
A=20
fresh install on a blank drive is best.
David.

Clean install or so I thought. Three cards, 3 C16s, 1 =

SPDIF isn't outputting signal
2 of the 3 C-16s send now line to middle of song when =
double striking rewind.
No audio from card B except solo bus.
At start up messages read missing stuff. Nothing about =
audio connections
or any of that. I'm too tired to remember but will post =
it tomorrow.
I choose Polesoft Lockspam to fight spam, and you?

------=_NextPart_000_0009_01C81745.619B5050--I reconised interesting thing. When I send signal to aux fx, (for example Chorus,
Comp, Pseudo Stereo) by Out wire plugin, sound is very good, less ruin, less
phase.Scenario: on insert Out wire, on aux In wire and some FX.Also reverbs
sounds more nice !!!No sapleslide etc.
Try it your self.
zmoraI've been thinking about rushing the wire, but I'm too busy right now for
such adventures. I may just let Chris Ludwig do it for me and build me a
super box with a monster quad and 8G RAM running Vista 64 and Cubase 4/64.
This would be much easier, eventually cheaper and would make perfect sense
to do. The problem I have with *anyone* else building my boxes is that I
have this compusion to *fix* things that aren't broken and in order to know
(and be absolutely convinced that I know for sure) the definition of
*broken* I usually need to break it in numerous ways..........and actually
go to great lengths to find ways to break it that push the limits of
foolishness and wretched excess. I call it creative destruction....or maybe
it's destructive creation, I'm not sure. I have lived with this condition
my entire life. That's why I don't drink or do drugs anymore....I mean, who
needs that stuff when you've got an inherently nonsensical intellectual
curiousity anyway?
;o)

Patience was never one of my strong points........if you hadn't noticed
;o)That's cool stuff and funny.
One line reminded me of the old joke about the cowboys
in Indian country circling their wagons for the night.
When out of the shadows comes the drums...
BOOMboomboomboom
BOOMboomboomboom
BOOMboomboomboom
Tex says to Slim:
Slim, I don't like the sound O' them drums...
Then, from out of the darkness comes a voice....
Yeah WE don't him either, he's not our regular drummer...
heh
Hey, I finished two of the old tunes! The one with the
embarrssing lyrics got overhauled and even got a new title.
It's way way better. but will I cringe at it too in 20 years?
prolly.
The other one never did have lyrics or melody. Now it has both.
Kind of a Live at Leeds crossed with SRV vibe. Very powerful
and sexy.
(yes it is about monogamous, married, yea even middle-aged
SEX! so eat yer hearts out young folks!)
I can't share much yet, because no one gets to hear my
singing and I need to get these copyrighted first, but I will
put them up as soon as I can get my singer friend out here
ad put it together.
Pull out yer old stuff! There's diamonds in there.
Somewhere....
