Actually, a newer NIC card will use 3.3 volt signalling, and the PARIS cards
use 5 volts. It could be that you MB is feeding the EDS cards bad power
- maybe even 3.3 volts. Try the EDS cards in another PC. That's really
the only way to know if they are cooked. I doubt that they all could be.
Actually, low voltage would make any card act weird. High voltage would
work fine until they popped.
Tom, if you give up on this, I need you to send me one of your EDS cards,
because I just have to know!
