Do you have any application that will give you a firm signal or
indicator if it's being clocked & locked? Like CubaseSX, an RME
card w/driver? Pulsar?
Maybe Paris won't but plenty of others do - what about any of
the freebies like Ardour or ??? Do any of those have a timecode
or wordclock lock-confirmation "light" or any such thing? If
so, maybe download one & see if it's indeed working.
It sounds to me as if it may not be, from what you describe.
NeilForgot to mention....
1.) when you ran the 3 cables out of the word clock outs; were
they all the same length?
2.) are all the cables 75-ohm?
3.) does ANY of the stuff you're trying to clock require
workclock termination, and if so, were you not running it
terminated?
If the anwser to any of the above is "no", then there's your
likely problem, or at least the first place to throw in a fix.

Nah, no need, Lamont's right, the G4s and G5s were slower than comparably
priced PCs in cpu power at least. Only the new Macintels have comparable cpu
and buss speeds, since they are the same hardware as a stock core 2 duo PC,
just a different case and OS.
I was just giving you a hard time for not conceding that one. :-)
I still might not go with a Mac for more practical application related
reasons, but they compete on more level ground now

Hey remember this commercial?

That's a pretty big claim!
Since LaMont is right, maybe you guys should file a suit against Apple, IBM
and Jeff GoldBlum; ) Apple has so many frivolous law suits against them
right now, maybe they would settle quick, or maybe their attorneys would
squash you like a bug. And of course, I'm just kidding with you.
Power is no longer an issue or debate, thank god! Now it's all a matter
of OS, applications, diversity, capabilities, and your needs. Good luck with
your system purchase.
