By the way, you can make a headphone mix across submixes
without using an external mixer in Paris. You will need 2 Mecs
and 2 spare A to D and D to As in each mec.
Let's use Aux 1 in submix A & B.
After setting up aux 1 to be stereo and pre fader in both sub A & B, =
draw lft & rt=20
patches from aux 1/sub B out to any of your available 8 ins. Hardwire =
its associated
outputs to two more inputs of sub A. In the Paris patchbay loop the =
channels
in sub A from insert in/out to 2 channels of 8 in/outs on sub A. This =
should be the
same two channels that you hardwired Sub Bs aux 1 bus to. Now send
those two channels via mixer A into aux 1. You have potentially 14 =
channels from
sub A and 14 channels from sub B feeding your aux 1 headphone mix.
Costs you a couple of channels in each Mec but I don't find myself =
needing=20
to record more than 28 channels at a time ever.
A work around tha
