>>Hey man, that's pretty cool stuff!
The first tune was pure 1981 XTC style. Love it.
I was expecting more of the same then, bam, a Dead sounding piece. Nice
work.
The woman on track 3 reminds me of a young Momma Cass. This is some
pretty great stuff Jimbo.
Track four i can't quite put my finger, maybe Bob Weir doing Hall &
Oats...lol....
Sorry but I didn't like Beautiful Child too much, the ingredients
sounded to me like they were at odds with each other for some reason.
But you got a big redemtion with Once More.
Remember That is very cool. I'm a big fan of Junior Brown and this one
sounded, lyrically, like something he'd do.
Hey, I liked Restless, but I hate Thourougood...lol...way to go!
Alter My Gene's has your garage band roots showing...with you'd have had
more of this early-80's-vaguely-new-wave stuff on here.
I sorta liked Love Song but imho you shoulda harped on a more Eyna style
sound because of the floatyness and the vox reps. Still a nice song though.
What Kind of Love is quite a nice one. I especially like the vibe you
have going on.
aaarhh..you faked me out with George...lol after that long pause I
really expected to hear something ultra heavy and fast..lol.
I'll tell ya, I really hate blues. I'm mean really have no use for it.
But there are some bluesy styles that I love and Momma's Got Wings is
one of them. Reminded me of another guy I like, Leon Redbone, but with
out the mouthfulofmarbles effect. lol.
All in all you guys are pretty great. I'd go to see you live anytime!
